It can’t be that hard to build a hang-glider, can it?
Benny and Johnny find out just how hard it gets.
Bound to Fly
A rancid farce: the story of a sticky-fingered Uncle who takes his Nephew up the Isle of Wight and pitches, camp, on dense ground.
A fetid fantasy: the legend of Icarus as you’ve never seen it before. Misadventure, myth, bestiality, bondage, and bullocks.
Written, devised and performed by Benny Semp and Johnny F O'Hanlon this new piece of theatre is a subtly sick mix of comedy, tragedy, the beautiful and the bizarre.
Technically our needs are simple - darkness and a domestic power supply.
Running time will be approximately sixty-nine minutes.
Aerodynamics – its all Greek to us !!!!!
What the critics have said about Bound to Fly:
"An extraordinary Dadaist misadventure which has a charming spontaneity to it... Abandon pomposity at the door and let yourself go - it'll be worth it." - Sam Taylor - Three Weeks
"A show which takes comedy terrorism to new depths." - Claire Smith - The Scotsman
"Hard to describe... a group of acolytes whinnies its approbation." - William McEvoy - The Stage
"an engaging and unnerving experience... I loved it. Heaven knows what’s next but I want to be there and hope you are too. " - James Yarker - artistic director of Stan's Café
